1926 (7 Dec) flight cover franked with 29 stamps, United States and 27 other countries, each canceled on their prospective stops, signed by the various pilots. (The administration of Calvin Coolidge sought ideas for ways to build relationships with countries of Central and South America. Chief of the Army Air Forces, Major General Mason proposed a goodwill visit by Army Air Force pilots to 23 countries in the Caribbean and Central and South America. The selected route covered over 23,000 miles, visiting the capitals of every country in Latin and Central America, except Lima, which was at too high an altitude for the aircraft to reach. It also visited the Caribbean islands of Trinidad, Jamaica, and Martinique)

1927 (29 June) Byrd Trans-Atlantic Flight, cacheted cover franked with 5c blue, canceled New York, June 21,1927, with "Ver-sur-Mer" 2.7.27 arrival cds, v.f., signed by Byrd and three crew members (Comdr. R.E.Byrd took off on his monoplane "America" from New York to Paris and was forced to land on the beach at Ver-sur-Mer (after a flight of 42 hours). 1928 (9 July) Boston, cover franked with 10c Lindbergh, bearing "Official Welcome to America Earhart, Wilmer Sultz, Lou Gordon "Friendship" fliers" cachet, actually autographed by all three fliers, v.f., addressed to Mr. George W. Angers (Amelia Earhart became the first woman to fly across the Atlantic Ocean in 1928, but only as a passenger. Wilmer Stultz and Louis Gordon did the actual piloting. The trio made their crossing in a Fokker F.VII Tri-Motor named "Friendship". Their successful flight took them from Trepassey Harbour, Newfoundland, to Burry Port, South Wales in 20 hours and 40 minutes)
