1909 (9 Mar) picture postcard (one of the earliest aero planes "Delagrange") Pioneer Aviation Meeting in Savigny sur Orge (near Paris), addressed to Jerusalem, autographed by Ferdinand Delagrange (a pioneering French aviator, ranked as one of the top aviators in the world. On 30 December 1909 he had broken all speed records at Juvisy-sur-Orge in France in an attempt to win the Michelin Cup). A v.f. first flights forerunner

Jerusalem and violet "Kgl Preussische Feld-Flieger Abteilung 200" (Imperial Prussian Field Flying Corps 200) cachet at left, fine. The headquarters of the Imperial German Flying Corps 200 (better known as "Pascha 200") was relocated from Bir es Sheba to Jerusalem on July 11, 1917. Fourteen planes served in this division and mail from Air Force units were taken to Constantinople in diplomatic pouches and forwarded to the marine post offices in Berlin

A.O.K.4's headquarters of the Imperial German Flying Corps 300 (better known as "Pascha 300") was located at Bir es Sheba and this card was posted at Ramle and forwarded through the marine post office in Berlin. The sender was attached to the anti-aircraft batteries ("Flakzug 136"), one of only two cards flown by this Corps, possibly the beginning of Airmail service in the Middle East

1927 Imperial Airways Special Flight (Gaza-Baghdad-Basra), cover with corner cachet of the American Express Company Jaffa Road Jerusalem, franked with 2x13m (one corner fault), tied by 5 April Jerusalem machine cancels, addressed to Karachi, with Baghdad (7 Apr), Karachi (15 Apr) and "Drigh Road" cds on back (facsimile labels hinged at bottom of cover), filing folds away from the stamps, fine. On 6th January 1927, Imperial Airways took over from the Royal Air Force and this special flight by "G-EBNA" aircraft (piloted by Capt. Travers) from Gaza via Baghdad carried civilian mail, preceding the actual opening of the route to the public by two years. A rarity, one of only five covers carried on this flight

1933 (11 Mar) stationery card from Jerusalem to Budapest, carried on the first Hungarian Mediterranean Circular flight, stage Gaza to Budapest, arrived with Plane Gerle March 24, 1933 cachet, autographed by the pilots Tibor Bisitz and Anthony Banhidy. As the prepared return cards did not arrive in time for the flight from Jerusalem, Tibor Bisitz (pilot) addressed three cards to himself in Budapest, had them canceled at the post office and carried them on the flight. This is the only card available (the others are in the postal museums in Budapest and Tel Aviv)
