 | Lot #4439 ITALIAN WORLD WAR II OCCUPATION ISSUES Italian Field Post in the Soviet Union Naval and Maritime Mail 1943 (14 Mar) official fieldpost lettersheet sent by a member of the Italian Fourth Flotilla of Motor Torpedo Boards that operated against the Soviet Union in the Baltic, canceled "IV Flottiglia MAS", with "Posta Militare No.84" endorsement on back, opened and resealed by military censor in Rome, fine. A very elusive example of mail from the Italian Naval Flotilla operating against Russia (a special unit known as the 10th Light Flotilla used modified tourist motorboats called "MTM" (Motoscafi da Turismo Modificati).
