Worldwide sections include an exceptional holding of Israel, including Forerunners and Interim Period. There are solid sections of France, Germany, Italy and Italian States, British Commonwealth, with many individual rarities. Eastern Europe offers a collection of Poland, with many better Krakow overprints, as well as Imperial Russia, with rare inverted backgrounds, Romanov correspondence, followed by Soviet Union, including Air Post and Civil War issues. 1898-1907 three Russian stationery cards including 3k (2) and 4k, also 4k on picture postcard, each with a different "Is Finlandi" (from Finland) handstamp in violet or black, sent from Helsingfors, via St. Petersburg, two used locally, others to England and New York, with St. Petersburg and Helsingfors cancels, fine group ("From Finland" handstamp was used in St. Petersburg 1898-1908 for mail from Finland not canceled at origin)
