There are solid sections of France, Germany, Italy and Italian States, British Commonwealth, with many individual rarities. Eastern Europe offers a collection of Poland, with many better Krakow overprints, as well as Imperial Russia, with rare inverted backgrounds, Romanov correspondence, followed by Soviet Union, including Air Post and Civil War issues. 1941 "British Occupation" overprints on Italian "Marche de Bollo" Fiscal stamps, seven different, n.h., usual centering, mostly fine (overprints were prepared in Mogadishu shortly after occupation of the region on orders of South African forces, but as the higher authorities did not give their approval, the stamps were never issued and most of the stocks destroyed)
