Our November 12-14, 2024 auction features solid selections of United States stamps and proofs (including further material from the Larry Brasler stock), Canada (with a fine example of 12p black), Great Britain & British Commonwealth, Israel, European Countries, with collection of Wayne Demarest's Germany and Colonies, an old-time holding of Zbigniew Cianciara's Poland, Western Ukraine, solid Russia and rest of the world. There is an additional section of Mixed Frankings and Redirected Mail, formed by a European gentleman, with many interesting combination usages. 1945 SA-SS set of two used with additional franking on "Berlin 25" registered cover (Philipp Hamper, stamp dealer), dated 20 April, 1945 and addressed locally, corresponding Registry label and arrival (Berlin No 55, Apr 21,1945) pmk on back, with 1991 Schlegel certificate ("cover is genuine and correctly franked. Post Office C25 was still operational (with restrictions) on 20th April 1945"). The cover may or may not have gone through the mail, but was prepared by a stamp dealer, so probably a souvenir, with correct dates and franking
