1864 (16 July) cover (with letter of contents) sent from Darmstadt to Hannover, franked with imperf. 9kr bister, apparently with margins all around, tied by departure cds, addressed to Count de Reiset, Minister of France, redirected to Oeynhausen, with Hannover 1gr George V Perce en Arc 16, pasted over the Thurn & Taxis adhesive, tied by blue Hannover pmk (17.7) cds, Cassel-Hannover datestamp and arrival markings on back, fine and interesting Thurn & Taxis+Hannover combination cover (the addressee, Gustave Armand Henri, Comte de Reiset, was a French diplomat, writer and art collector. He served as an ambassador to the Kingdom of Hannover from 1863)
