There is an old-world collection of Mixed Frankings and Redirected Mail, formed by a European gentleman, with an extraordinary selection of combination usages. Other areas areas are well represented, with China, Japan and Korea. As always, the sale contains 160+ large lots and collections, with individual country albums, worldwide accumulations in cartons, cover lots and much more.  | Lot #1415 LARGE LOTS AND COLLECTIONS GERMANY 1872-1945 collection in a large Schwaneberger (1953 edition) album, collected both unused and used, starting with North German Confederation, continuing with complete Small and Large Shields, including No.10 Plate Flaw variety (Mi.10, PFV, €3,500), unused without gum, with 2002 Sommer certificate, "Pfennige" 5pf-50pf complete (29-39), Reichspost to 5M, multiple examples of the Wartime printings, 1920 "Kreuzbluten" watermark 1 1/4m used (210), issues complete from there, with Regular Definitives, Semi-Postals, with souvenir sheets (B33,B58,B68), Air Post, including 1912 "Gelber Hund" and "E.EL.P" overprints unused, also "Gelber Hund" on card (CL1-6), with all Zeppelin sets (C38-45), both used and unused of each, plus Officials. Back of book includes German Occupation of Bohemia and Moravia, Generalgouvernement (Poland), Luxemburg, Elsass, Fieldpost issues for Rhodes, Tunis (Palm stamp) and U-Boat Hela. A well rounded, comprehensive assembly, with many plate flaws and minor varieties, cancels, etc..
