1877 (14 Nov) complete FL from Vera Cruz, franked with 10c Hidalgo, tied by "Vera Cruz" departure pmk, sent to Genova, endorsed "Via U.S. of A.", with New Orleans (19 Nov) and New York (22 Nov) transits, arriving in Genova (12 Dec), where it was charged penalty rate of 1.15L postage due, with 5c, 10c and 1L Italian Postage Dues, filing fold through the 10c, otherwise fine and attractive letter, with 1992 Robineau certificate
