1872 (15 June) large part of a FL (side flaps are missing) to Marseille, franked with single 1pi Sphinx & Pyramid (faulty at bottom), tied by "V.R. Poste Egiziane Port C Said" departure cds, repeated at left, routed "via Brindisi", with "PD", red "Paq. Angl V. Brind.", sent via the French Post Office in Alexandria, where 40c and 80c Ceres were added, canceled by "5080" large numerals, also "Paq.Ang.Alexandrie", with "Poste Egiziane Alexandria" and Marseille arrival pmks on back
