1866 (24 Sep) large cover (with letter of contents and printed listing of grievances against Prussia by King George V) addressed to the Count de Reiset, Emperor Napoleon's representative in Hannover, sent from Austria and franked with 10x5kr rose, perf. 9 1/2 (block of eight and two singles), tied by "Hietzing 30.9.66" departure cds, with blue Hanover arrival pmk on back, redirected to Chateau Breteuil in France, additionally franked with Prussia 3sgr rouletted single and strip of nine, plus 6pf and 1sgr, all tied by blue "Berlin-Minden" transit datestamps, red "PD" and blue "Franco" handstamps, "Prusse Erquelines" (3 Oct) and "Passau-Hannover" and "Paris a Cherbourg" forwarding pmks on back, intact wax seal, minor cover wrinkles and small tears away from the stamps, unusual and impressive combination and undoubtedly rare usage following Austro-Prussian War
