1947 Provisional Star & Crescent handstamps on 68 Stamps of India (61 different), handstamped in black (25), purple (14), red (14) and in green (15), all n.h., occasional faint toning as always, mostly fresh, fine-v.f., extremely rare assembly, accompanied by eight 2024 Royal certificates for the high value "Service" overprints (A4,A25-28,A60-61 and A92, last one listed but unpriced). In addition, there are 17 stamps with handstamps in various colors, unlisted in Scott. A rare opportunity to obtain a spectacular holding of genuine handstamped Provisionals from Bahawalpur, only a handful exist, cat. $120,000++
