1908 (4 Nov) German 3pf commemorative stationery entire (opened for display), additionally franked and registered from Wertheim, via San Marino (6 Nov) and Athens (Greek stamps added on both sides), where it was again registered and sent via Malta (2x1/2p, 1p and 2p added in Valetta) and forwarded to the Patriarch of the Latin Church in Jerusalem, arriving on 23 November, minor faults, well travelled and impressive cover

1923 (23 Mar) cover from Sliema to Constantinople, franked with 1d and 2d adhesives, tied by cds, with British Post Office Constantinople arrival pmk, forwarded to the French Post Office in Galata, with 50c Sower added to pay for further transmission to New York and Newark, N.J, with several handstamps indicating addressee not found, returned to Malta, with Valetta arrival 28 Sep (six months in the mails)
