The May 7-8, 2024 Sale of Rare Stamps and Postal History of the World will take place at our Teaneck, N.J. Galleries, via CherrystoneLIVE. There are 1,562 lots, offered in four sessions, beginning with United States, followed by a diverse worldwide holding formed by Dikran Taner. There are solid sections of Austria, Belgium, France, Germany, Italy and Italian States, Switzerland, Turkey, as well as British Commonwealth, featuring John Pedneault's postal history of Ireland, extensive Bermuda, British Africa and various individual rarities. In addition, there are selections of China, with Red Revenues, numerous Flight and Zeppelin covers, rare booklets and more. Finally, the last session is highlighted by Large Lots and Collections, with 184 lots ranging from single country albums, specialized holdings, multi-carton worldwide groups and large cover lots offered intact.

1939 legal-size cover franked with 30c (C24), flown from New York to Germany, with "First Trans-Atlantic Air Mail Services by Imperial Airways" and "LZ 130 Graf Zeppelin" printed cachets, German 3M adhesive added in Frankfurt, carried to Eger on the Sudeten-flight, with corresponding cachet and arrival pmk on back, fine and impressive mixed franking cover (Si.462)
