The May 7-8, 2024 Sale of Rare Stamps and Postal History of the World will take place at our Teaneck, N.J. Galleries, via CherrystoneLIVE. There are 1,562 lots, offered in four sessions, beginning with United States, followed by a diverse worldwide holding formed by Dikran Taner. There are solid sections of Austria, Belgium, France, Germany, Italy and Italian States, Switzerland, Turkey, as well as British Commonwealth, featuring John Pedneault's postal history of Ireland, extensive Bermuda, British Africa and various individual rarities. In addition, there are selections of China, with Red Revenues, numerous Flight and Zeppelin covers, rare booklets and more. Finally, the last session is highlighted by Large Lots and Collections, with 184 lots ranging from single country albums, specialized holdings, multi-carton worldwide groups and large cover lots offered intact.

1945-70 Issues, also DDR, with essentially complete collection in two albums, mostly hinged with a few covers, with Berlin-Brandenburg, Mecklenburg-Verpommern, Chemnitz, East Saxony including 12pf "Pochta", better perforations, varieties (including "Grossrohrsdorf"), Saxony, Thuringen including Christmas and Reconstruction souvenir sheets of four (two different of each), West Saxony, East Germany with Goethe, perf. and imperf. Marx souvenir sheets, China Friendship, etc. There are many Michel listed varieties, imperfs, printed on gum, part perf., perforation and color errors, different watermarks, all correctly identified, most expert signed, also a few interesting covers and stationery items, occasional certificates included, fine-v.f., Mi. €8,500+
