The May 7-8, 2024 Sale of Rare Stamps and Postal History of the World will take place at our Teaneck, N.J. Galleries, via CherrystoneLIVE. There are 1,562 lots, offered in four sessions, beginning with United States, followed by a diverse worldwide holding formed by Dikran Taner. There are solid sections of Austria, Belgium, France, Germany, Italy and Italian States, Switzerland, Turkey, as well as British Commonwealth, featuring John Pedneault's postal history of Ireland, extensive Bermuda, British Africa and various individual rarities. In addition, there are selections of China, with Red Revenues, numerous Flight and Zeppelin covers, rare booklets and more. Finally, the last session is highlighted by Large Lots and Collections, with 184 lots ranging from single country albums, specialized holdings, multi-carton worldwide groups and large cover lots offered intact.

1902 (13 Nov) picture postcard from Warszawa to Peking, franked with 1k and 3k Russian Arms, tied by Cyrillic departure datestamp, redirected on arrival to Tsingtau, with German Offices in China 5pf green added for further transmission to the Russian Post Office in Peking and from there to Port Arthur, finally arriving in German Kiauchau on 18 Jan 1903, card creases, otherwise fine and unusual item
