Martin Nadel's NUMBER ONES OF THE WORLD & Yacov Tsachor's POSTAL HISTORY OF FRANCE
April 3, 2024

Our April 3rd, 2024 sale features two diverse and fascinating collections, first being the "Number Ones of the World", formed by Dr.Martin Nadel, followed by the multi-Gold-Medal "Postal History of France 1871-1878 Perforated Ceres" by Yacov Tsachor. Dr.Nadel's collection consists of an array of used or unused rarities from European Empires, Old States and Colonies; Asia, with numerous Indian States, the Americas and rest of the world. Yacov Tsachor, the foremost authority and expert of all Holy Land Areas, has exhibited his French Postal History collection at numerous International Exhibitions, garnering Large Golds all over the World (most recently in 2022 at London), Helvetia and Hunfilex. The collection is an erudite study of French Domestic and Foreign rates, destinations, maritime mail, Consular Agencies, Redirected Mail and unusual franking combinations. There are eight covers franked with Tete-Beche pairs, used from Shanghai, Yokohama, Havana, as well as three examples of 15c Error of color on cover or card. Mr. Tsachor has been an expert, A.I.E.P. member and F.I.P accredited juror for many years and we are honored to be able to present his award-winning collection.
