We begin with a nice selection of 19th and early 20th Century United States. European Countries include Austria, Germany and Colonies, Italy and Colonies, Luxembourg, Norway, Iceland, Portugal and Colonies, Spain, Sweden and Switzerland. There are many rare and seldom offered classics. Most of the individual lots are accompanied by certificates as well as excellent and comprehensive balances offered intact, with Greece, Germany, Bulgaria, and many others. 1853-99 collection on pages, with 1857 5c blue, 1861 5c blue with line through "Honolulu" variety, 1868 5c blue and 13c dull rose, Numerals with 1c and 2c in both black and blue, 1861 2c pale rose, 1864-91 sets complete, 1893 Provisional Gov't Handstamps complete except for two high values, 1894 set complete and Officials complete, plus a selection of 14 different varieties, including Provisional Gov't with "no period after Govt", inverted and double overprints, etc., unused with or without gum, mixed condition with some faults noted, otherwise fine-v.f.
