We begin with a nice selection of 19th and early 20th Century United States. European Countries include Austria, Germany and Colonies, Italy and Colonies, Luxembourg, Norway, Iceland, Portugal and Colonies, Spain, Sweden and Switzerland. There are many rare and seldom offered classics. Most of the individual lots are accompanied by certificates as well as excellent and comprehensive balances offered intact, with Greece, Germany, Bulgaria, and many others. COLOMBIA Air Post
1919 2c carmine rose, unused with original gum, minor h.r., well centered for issue, with intact perforations, v.f. A nice example of this Air Post rarity, signed Roger Calves, Sanabria, Kessler, with 2023 Philatelic Foundation certificate. Only 200 copies of this overprint were prepared for the experimental flight from Barranquilla to Puerto Colombia. Approximately 160 were used on covers. Overprinting was done in horizontal strips of 10, which were severed by knife, causing most of the stamps to be defective,
