1921 (10 Sep) large part of a registered cover (reduced at right) sent by the Imperial Bank of Persia from Bushire to their main office, via Bagdad to Teheran, franked with violet surcharges 1kr on 12ch and 10ch on 6ch Portrait Issue, with Registry handstamp , transit and arrival (9 XII.21) pmks on back. The long and unconventional route was used because of concerns over the road safety in the south
