United States 1857-61 Issue
1857 90c blue, used, relatively light black cancel, well centered for issue, small faults as often encountered in this high value, very rare genuinely used, with 2004 PFC ("with a tear at left center and small faults"), fine appearance (This 90c stamp was actually issued in 1860 and was in use for only one year because of the outbreak of the Civil War, when supplies of current U.S. stamps were declared invalid in the South and ultimately demonetized in the North. Genuinely canceled copies of the 90c are scarce)
