United States 1917-29 Issues
1923 Rotary perf. 11, 1c green, used, light cancel and well centered for issue, design well clear of the perforations on all sides, fresh color, fine example of this difficult stamp, with clear 1997 PFC and 2010 PFC stating "with a small internal paper split at bottom in arc of 3rd perf. from the right" (catalogue value is for a stamp with perforations touching the frameline on one side) (Siegel census of Scott 594 records 112 used stamps, many with perforations cutting in on one or more sides, or with faults)
