Welcome to our January 9-10 Sale of U.S. and Worldwide Stamps and Postal History. The sale contains 1,508 lots and will be offered in four sessions, beginning with United States and U.S. Possessions. Worldwide sections include France, Germany, Italian Area, with many individual rarities. British Commonwealth, with a further selection of G.R.I. errors and varieties. (not tied) on "Nachnahme" (Cash on Delivery) cover from Fraubrunnen to Kirchberg, with departure pmk alongside and July 19, 1851 arrival cds on back, cover somewhat unfresh and heavily refolded, small part (wax seal) missing on back, various charge markings, include "20" in red, rare usage between two small towns near Bern, with 1968 Buhler certificate,
