FRANCE 1870-71 Siege of Paris - Par Ballon Monte
1870 (24 Nov) FL endorsed "Par Ballon Monte", with Paris R. Le Clery departure pmk, without stamp and other markings. The pilot Paul Rolier left Paris on the Balloon "Le Vile D'Orleans" on 24th November. The balloon crash landed after 14 hours and 45 minutes, passing 1,246 km.
