1872 (14 Jan) outer FL from Marseilles to Mexico, via New York where it was franked with 10c Bank Note issue (straight edge at left), tied by Jan 23 foreign mail pmk and forwarded to Laguna de Terminos, with "2" hs (Mexican inland postage), oval "Galwey & Casado New York" forwarder's cachet on back. Also included another outer FL with 10c franking, sent from New York to Laguna, endorsed "Per City of Mexico", showing "2" hs (Mexican inland postage) and "Via Progreso" routing hs, fine pair of covers to the same address in Laguna, Mexico
