This 1,366 lot sale features better United States, with quality material assembled by a Japanese gentleman. Foreign countries include Albania, with 1913 Double Eagle handstamps, Austria, France and Colonies, Germany with a selection of WWII Occupation Issues, Great Britain and British Commonwealth with Australia, BNA, New Zealand, British Asia and Africa. There are rarities from Iran, including postal history, Italy and Italian Colonies, a collection of hand-painted Karl Lewis covers and more. The auction concludes with over two hundred Large Lots and Collections, ranging from single country albums and specialized collections, to multi-carton worldwide groups and large cover lots offered intact.

1879 Umberto I, 20c orange and 30c brown, used on small registered cover from Rome to Torino, both canceled by large "Roma Ferrovia 20 / 12 Nov 1880" cancels, with part of arrival pmk on back, 20c orange with rounded upper right corner, 30c brown usual centering with clear and intact perforations, part of backflap missing, fresh and unusually fine cover with extremely rare franking, various signatures, with 1977 Diena and 2018 Dr.Giorgio Colla certificates (Sass.39,41, €31,500 for 30c on cover) (30c represented the registration fee and the Umberto 30c brown was valid for only one year)
