1927 (15 July) Calcutta to Cherrapunji flight by W.H Vetch, an H.F Bennett envelope with violet cachet "D.H. MOTH Aeroplane G.E.B.M.O. Air 15-7-27 Mail Calcutta Shillong", franked with 1a George V, canceled at Cherrapunji, addressed to Assam, with arrival pmk on back, two hinge remnants on back, v.f. cover, accompanied by a small photograph of the airplane, only 35 carried (Cherrapunji or Sohra has often been credited as being the wettest/rainiest place on Earth)
