1869 30c ultramarine & carmine, beautiful colors, tied by red rosette and corresponding "New York Paid Nov 27" (1870) on part of folded letter (complete front and small part of reverse) addressed to Constantine, Algeria, with red "PD" and London Paid transit, also Angl.Calais entry pmk and endorsed "Via England", small part of Marseille transit on back, with tiny portion of arrival cancel as well, very rare destination, signed Balasse, etc., also Peter Holcombe, with his and James van der Linden's 1996 certificates, minor cover tears at top (complete cover to a foreign destination catalogues $35,000)
