This 1,306 lot sale features United States and Possessions, with 19th & 20th Century single rarities, graded items, proofs, essays and back of the book material. A-Z countries include specialized Austria, Egypt, France, as well as Germany with a selection of WWII Occupation Issues and mail from POW Camps. Great Britain and British Commonwealth include rare singles, high values, BNA and British Africa. There are numerous rarities from Iran, Italy (with Old States and Italian Colonies), Israel, with sheets of 7-9 and J1-5, Korea, Latvia and many other collecting areas. The auction concludes with a solid section of Large Lots and Collections ranging from single country albums to specialized collections, multi-carton worldwide groups and large cover lots offered intact.

1845-1917 Imperial Issues, collection on Lindner album pages and mint sheet file, with used and unused singles, 1858-65 to 30k, some unused, Vertically Laid paper, three trial color proofs of 5k (red, blue and orange), "V" instead of "3" selection of 15 used, some on pieces with additional stamps, stampless covers, postal stationery, better covers (30k carmine & green, used in combination with 1k on back of cover sent in 1876 from Vyatka), large multiples and cancels of 7k and 8k, Crossed "T" varieties, 1889-1904 Arms issues, including large pane of 25 of 7r, Romanov Issue, including strip of three 1k-25k with archival security punches (ex-De La Rue archives), blocks of four 1k/70k, Semi-Postals, with multiples and nice covers, large representation of Imperial Arms 1915-17 perf. and imperf. sheets, interesting correspondence to Shlisselburg prison, etc., mixed condition, good lot
