This 1,306 lot sale features United States and Possessions, with 19th & 20th Century single rarities, graded items, proofs, essays and back of the book material. A-Z countries include specialized Austria, Egypt, France, as well as Germany with a selection of WWII Occupation Issues and mail from POW Camps. Great Britain and British Commonwealth include rare singles, high values, BNA and British Africa. There are numerous rarities from Iran, Italy (with Old States and Italian Colonies), Israel, with sheets of 7-9 and J1-5, Korea, Latvia and many other collecting areas. The auction concludes with a solid section of Large Lots and Collections ranging from single country albums to specialized collections, multi-carton worldwide groups and large cover lots offered intact.

1851-69 selection of 36 items on dealer cards, each inspected by Bill Weiss with his notes (and several certificates), mostly used, including 1851 1c type II, 1c type IIIa (corner crease, top margin touching, with 2011 Weiss certificate), 1c type IV with cleaned cancel, 3c orange brown (10a), 3c dull red, type I and II, each large part original gum, 10c green, type II, 12c (2, one cleaned); 1857 1c blue type V, two singles and a pair, 10c type II, 10c type III (2), 10c type V, 24c gray and 24c gray lilac, 30c orange (unused, with Weiss certificate); 1861 5c buff, 5c brown (2), 12c black on cover to England, 24c red lilac, 24c lilac, 30c orange (2), 90c blue; 12c E.Grill, 12c and 15c F.Grills; 1869 Pictorials with 10c (2 including one with fancy Rosette cancel), 15c types I and II, and 30c, mixed condition with faults noted on most items, otherwise fine lot
