GREECE IMBROS
1913 cover franked with three Ottoman adhesives, each overprinted by hand and used from Imbros to Tantah, Egypt, with Alexandria transit and Tantah arrival pmks. In 1912 during the First Balkan War, the Greek Navy invaded the island of Imbros, which at the time had an absolute Greek majority population of 8,500 people.
