1893 40pa handstamped surcharge (type 1, with broken "S") on Great Britain 1/2d vermilion, cancelled by B.P.O. Constantinople 27.2.93 cds on cover addressed to Germany, with additional Constantinople cds and Sayn (3.3.93) arrival pmks, fine and scarce usage, with 2011 BPA certificate. This provisional surcharge was in use for five days (Feb 25-29), only at the Constantinople and Stamboul post offices
