This 1,554 lot sale begins with United States, with 19th and 20th Century single rarities, graded items, proofs, essays and back of the book material. European countries are well represented, with a good showing of Great Britain & British Commonwealth. South America is highlighted by classic Colombia. Other noteworthy areas include the late Roy Koczarski's award-wining collection of Poland, plus Russia, with an unused Number One. The sale concludes with Large Lots and Collections, with single country albums to specialized collections, multi-carton worldwide groups and cover lots.  | Lot #382 United States - U.S.Postal Agency Siberia 1918 (5 Nov) YMCA cover franked with Imperial Arms adhesives, paying 30k from Vladivostok to County Sheriff Davenport, Iowa, "rece'd Dec.10-18" docketing, "Opened by Censor" seal and handstamped "Passed by censor 1437" on back, fine cover from Vladivostok to Iowa, using YMCA envelope. After the Czechs had overthrown the Soviet forces, various U.S. Civilian contingents were sent to give assistance, including a substantial group from the YMCA.  | Price Realized $100.00 |
