Welcome to our December 7-8 sale of U.S. and Worldwide Stamps and Postal History. This 1,554 lot sale begins with United States, with 19th and 20th Century single rarities, graded items, proofs, essays and back of the book material. European countries are well represented, with a good showing of Great Britain & British Commonwealth. South America is highlighted by classic Colombia. Other noteworthy areas include the late Roy Koczarski's award-wining collection of Poland, plus Russia, with an unused Number One. The sale concludes with Large Lots and Collections, with single country albums to specialized collections, multi-carton worldwide groups and cover lots.  | Lot #519 CZECHOSLOVAKIA Czechoslovak Legion Post in Siberia 1919 (17 Mar) cover addressed to Army In the Field, Czech Fieldpost, franked on back with 2x10k and 15k Imperial Arms, paying the correct inland letter rate, sent from Tulun (Irkutsk), departure cancel repeated on front, also with undated Czech Field Post cancel (but with 18.VI.19 written by hand), light oval TPO of Krasnoyarsk and crayon "Smer Irkutsk" (direction Irkutsk in Czech). Also included a picture postcard (depicting arrival of Czech army going to France to fight against Germany and Austria), franked with 15k Arms, sent from Vladivostok to USA, censored No.11, written in English ("I have seen as many uniforms as nationalities here and all are queer").
