CZECHOSLOVAKIA Czechoslovak Legion Post in Siberia
1918 (17 May) Red Cross postcard correctly franked with three 4k Imperial Arms adhesives, paying 12k, sent by a Czech soldier in Vladivostok to his family in Bohemia, Austria. Six weeks later, on 29th June, 1918, the Soviet government of Vladivostok was overthrown by the Czech legion

1918 (28 May) local postcard to Krasnoyarsk, attractively franked with six different War Charity stamps, addressed to a cadet, with message reading "I am on the way home with ill's transportation, Many Greetings, Jan Karaj". This card posted at Krasnoyarsk, on the Trans-Siberian Railway on Central Siberia, is dated just a day or so after the Czech uprising in Western Siberia

1919 (17 Mar) cover addressed to Army In the Field, Czech Fieldpost, franked on back with 2x10k and 15k Imperial Arms, paying the correct inland letter rate, sent from Tulun (Irkutsk), departure cancel repeated on front, also with undated Czech Field Post cancel (but with 18.VI.19 written by hand), light oval TPO of Krasnoyarsk and crayon "Smer Irkutsk" (direction Irkutsk in Czech). Also included a picture postcard (depicting arrival of Czech army going to France to fight against Germany and Austria), franked with 15k Arms, sent from Vladivostok to USA, censored No.11, written in English ("I have seen as many uniforms as nationalities here and all are queer"). A rarity

CZECHOSLOVAKIA Czechoslovak Legion Post in Siberia
1920 (20 Sep) registered cover from Vladivostok to Vienna, franked on both sides, with block of 4x15k Imperial Arms on front and pair of 70k on back, paying 2r (Primorsk Rubles), also with green "Vojensky Domov American YMCA" label, suggesting the sender stayed at the Czech-American YMCA Military Home, with London 30 October arrival pmk on back
