United States 1917-29 Issues
1923 1c green, perf. 11, part original gum, usual centering, fresh color, tiny thin spot, otherwise fine (Siegel census of Scott 594 records only 19 unused stamps, of which many have perforations cutting in on one or more sides, or have faults). This is one of only eleven known with original gum and considered to be one of the great rarities of 20th Century United States stamps, with 1971 and 2008 PFCs (catalogue value is for perforations touching the design on one side)
