1944 (9 Aug) Prisoner of War card (little reduced at top) to Germany, sent by an inmate in Camp Papago Park, with U.S. Censor and German "Gepruft" cachet handstamped on arrival (a POW facility located in Papago Park in the eastern part of Phoenix. It consisted of five compounds, four for enlisted men and one for officers. Called "Schlaraffenland" - "the land of milk and honey", by its mostly U-boat-crew inmates)
