The sale begins with over 400 lots of high quality U.S. singles including many rarities and graded items. The Foreign section includes Austria, France and Colonies, Germany, Italy and Colonies, Poland, Russia, Great Britain and British Commonwealth, China and South and Central American countries as well as an outstanding selection of the Treasures of Israel Philately, offered for sale at auction for the first time. Featured are the 1948 sheets of Doar Ivri, perf. and imperf. as well as uncut sheets of 300 of the First Festivals issue and the Postage Dues sets. In addition, this sale includes a strong selection of 200+ large lots and collections ranging from single country albums to specialized collections, multi-carton worldwide properties and large cover lots.

1948-52 large and varied collection on pages, complete sets with Tabs, starting with 1-6 (2 sets), 7-9, 10-14 (3 sets, including tab blocks), 15 (5, including two tab blocks), souvenir sheet on and off cover, 17-22 (set, plus tab blocks), 25, 27 (tab block), 28-30 (3 sets), 33-34 (tab blocks), plus others, including 48-50 and 55 (tab blocks). In addition, there are numerous Doar Ivri singles, cancels, additional 1000m with tab used, Plate Blocks, covers and FDCs (1-9), perforation varieties, First Holidays horizontal gutter tete-beche blocks, part sheets of tete-beche (18-21, 31-32), numerous covers and FDCs of every issue, some with tabs (17-22,33-34,37, also Plate Blocks, selection of booklets (Bale 4-6, etc., some panes on covers), First Postage Dues corner margin blocks of four, also sets on cover, Second Dues (J6-11) tab blocks and set with tabs on commemorative cover. The unused stamps are n.h. and mostly in excellent condition, including 7-9 (post office fresh, only minor fingerprints on back), fine-v.f. and valuable collection of Israel, huge acquisition cost
