The Foreign section includes Austria, France and Colonies, Germany, Italy and Colonies, Poland, Russia, Great Britain and British Commonwealth, China and South and Central American countries as well as an outstanding selection of the Treasures of Israel Philately, offered for sale at auction for the first time. Featured are the 1948 sheets of Doar Ivri, perf. and imperf. as well as uncut sheets of 300 of the First Festivals issue and the Postage Dues sets. 1922 2,000r definitive issue, with manuscript "5" in red ink over value tablet, changing it to "5,000r", unused, v.f., with 2001 Dr.Ceresa certificate ("three recorded used examples, including one on cover"). A rare manuscript provisional (Zagorsky mentions revalued stamps in the city of Zaqataly, where local revaluations were in effect for a few days after the introduction of new rates on November 15, 1922. These revaluations ceased after the officially revalued stamps became available)
