1808 NAPOLEON, Bonaparte, single page folio dated 16 December, 1808 addressed "Au Prince Eugene Napoleon", datelined Madrid. Napoleon addressed the letter "Mon Fils" and signs "Vote Affectionnee Pere NAP", fine letter from the Emperor to his stepson Eugene (de Beauharnais, was adopted by Napoleon in 1806, though excluded from succession to the French Empire). 1811 Napoleon Bonaparte (1769-1821), military general and the first emperor of France who is considered one of the world's greatest military leaders. Napoleon revolutionized military organization and training, sponsored the Napoleonic Code, reorganized education and established the long-lived Concordat with the papacy. A two-page letter, date-lined St.Cloude, 11 June, 1811 addressed to Duc de Feltre, Ministre de la Guerre (Henri-Jacques-Guillaume Clarke, Duke of Feltre, born to Irish parents from Lisdowney, Co. Kilkenny, in Landrecies, was a politician and Marshal of France. Clarke was one of the most influential and charismatic Franco-Irish generals in the French army during the Napoleonic period. He had close links to the Irish Brigade of France), letter discusses military matters, with additional commentary pinned at bottom, boldly signed "NAPOL", dated 11 June 1811
