Great Britain and British Commonwealth feature many high values and sets covering all reigns. This sale concludes with a good selection of large lots and collections, which range from single country albums to specialized collections and multi-carton worldwide stocks and cover lots. Please note our usual catalogues have not been printed for this sale, due to the current unreliability of the postal service (we hope to resume printing catalogues for the future auctions)

1854 Munich Issue, 40rp yellow green, three large margins, frame cut in at top, tied by black grids on outer FL from Geneva to Chambery, 5 June 56 departure cds alongside, arrival next day on back, filing folds away from the stamp, fresh and fine example on cover, with 1994 Berra-Gautschy certificate ("genuine, fresh in color, slightly in at top, wide margin on the other sides. It should be noted the great rarity presenting white margins all around") (Zu.26Aa, SFr 4,000)
