We are pleased to present our April 22, 2020 sale of United States Stamps and Postal History, featuring the collection of Richard Carl.  | Lot #153 United States 1869 Pictorials 1869 30c ultramarine & carmine, horizontal block of 12, reasonably canceled by black grids, excellent colors and well centered for a large multiple, minor ironed out creases and wrinkles noted. The largest recorded unused multiple is a block of six, the largest recorded used multiple is a block of twelve, of which three or four are known.
