PALESTINE Air Mail History of the Holyland Flight Covers
1923 Royal Air Force (Gaza-Baghdad) (7 May) cover from Tel Aviv, with Palestine franking to Baghdad, Kantara Haifa TPO South (9 May), arriving Baghdad on 13 May, filing fold and cover tears on back, away from the stamps, fine. This cover was carried by train from Tel Aviv to Gaza and flown from there, stated to be the earliest recorded Civilian Air Mail
