PALESTINE Air Mail History of the Holyland Flight Covers
1916 (28 Dec) picture postcard (Tower of David) addressed to Jaffa, endorsed "Feldpost", with 28.12.1916 Feldpost Bir-es-Seba, violet "Deutsche Feld-Flieger Abt.300 'Pascha'", corresponding address at top, little toning, fine, stated to be the only known piece of mail carried without Palestine. The German Flying Corps was part of the Turkish-German field command headquartered in Beersheba
