1857 (24 Feb) complete FL from Infiesto Oviedo to Montevideo, prepaying 4 Reales with vertical pair of Spain 2r dull purple (approximately equivalent to 1s7d), tied by oval grids, with "Infiesto Oviedo" departure pmk alongside, forwarded by the British Post Office with small crowned-circle "Paid at Tenerife" at top, supported by Tenerife Mar 17, 57 pmk on back (both in black), charged "1/" in manuscript, filing fold away from the stamps, fine and scarce usage from the British Packet Agency in Tenerife (Canary Islands) (SG Price on cover from £3,750)
