SM1" cds, boxed "Passed by Censor" handstamp below, filing folds and backflap missing, fine usage (Australian Division Supply HQ post Offices "S.M.1" operated as traveling post office at Gaza during 1940 and later moved to Egypt)

1941-45 collection of 80+ covers and cards mounted and extensively described exhibition-style on pages, many flown from Lydda to Melbourne, variety of Field Post Office and Censor markings, mostly free franks, others with Australian and Palestine Mandate franking, one mixed with Lebanese and Syrian adhesives, concessionary rates indicated where applicable, some envelopes reused (as per army regulations), with interesting markings applied, Mobile Post Offices, Official Mail, plus much more, with some rare and elusive items, interesting collection
