 | Lot #519 GUATEMALA 1878 The Indian Woman Issue, 1/2r yellow green, single franking, tied by large numeral "9" in oval on cover (reduced at left) from Mazatenango to Retalhuleu, with "Correos De Mazatenango June 16, 1878" cds alongside, fine cover, with 1985 Peter Holcombe certificate ("a very scarce stamp on cover") (Goodman's census lists eight covers and one front with 1/2r yellow green franking, plus one or two others. Most of these are in multiple frankings or in combination with other values or issues. Only four covers are single frankings paying the internal domestic rate.
