 | Lot #1245 BRITISH COMMONWEALTH AUSTRALIA Incoming Mail 1871 (Oct 6) stampless cover from Bruneck, Austria to Victoria, endorsed "Via Brindisi" with Villach and Trieste transits, then likely misdirected and sent back west overland to France with Lyon and Marseille transits, with Anglo-French Postal Convention "FR 2f96c" postage payable postmark, with Melbourne transit and "More to Pay" handstamp, with a Bairnsdale arrival on reverse, small faults, still an extraordinary cover, being one of only two known incoming covers with an Anglo-French handstamp, ex-Hugh Freeman
