1863 1p brown violet, strip of three, types I-II-I, good margins all around, with original gum being slightly cracked in places. Minute thin spot at right and two horizontal pre-printing paper folds of no importance. According to our records, this is the only and largest mint multiple known of the highest denomination of the sixth issue; the fact that only six multiples are also recorded in used condition confirms the significance of this important item. With no covers recorded with this 1 peso, this is the most important item of this value, and one of the most significant in this issue
