 | Lot #116 AUSTRIA Flight Covers 1915 Siege of Przemysl, the Lawrence Sadlek collection of 220 cards and covers from and to the Fortress, different flights and destinations, many better items, including official correspondence from General Kusmanek, cards from soldiers to Innsbruck, Vienna, Budapest, Prague, Graz, Linz, also several unused cards with official markings, variety of censor cachets, Balloon flights, few cards from Prisoners of War, some with Russian censor markings, occasional covers and cards with Austrian franking, mixed condition, some faults noted, many notations and reference to the AAMS and Sobetzky Austrian Air Mail catalogue, also some additional items, including "10th Anniversary of the Siege" Hungarian labels, special medal honoring the commander (General Kusmanek), plus photographs from the fortress, etc., generally fine. An impressive collection (many items acquired from Herbert Bloch, Mercury stamp company 40-45 years ago)
