1900 (16 Nov) Austrian picture postcard (S.M.S. "Kaiserin und Konigin Maria Theresa") written by an Austrian sailor from Taku Forts, franked with block of 4x1/2c and single 2c Chinese Imperial Post, tied by illegible cds and sent via the French Post Office in Shanghai, where 10c Chine was added for further transmission to Prague (addressed to an Infantry Cadet Academy), with arrival pmks, fine example of the Austrian presence in China. "Maria Theresa" remained in the Far East after the Boxer Rebellion
